Walk With Me

Michelle lives and works in Kinglake. This exhibition is an investigation of the flora and fauna that make up the Mountain Ash forests around her home. Michelle’s practice is focused on a thoughtful approach to making that is represented by a considered methodology. Primarily working in the jewellery field Michelle extends her work to installation, small sculpture and environmental art. Using recycled materials where possible and working towards minimal impact, she is currently working in an experimental way with recycled glass and Pâte de Verre, exploring the theme of the natural landscape and the voyeuristic consumption of human impact.

Michelle has recently completed her studies at RMIT University with First Class Honours and has exhibited in Radiant Pavilion 2017, Contemporary Wearables ’17 and Marzee International Graduate Show 2017. Michelle’s work is also held in the W.E. McMillan Collection at RMIT University, Melbourne.
