Undulations

Undulations by Felicity Grabkowski

Threads of the metropolis dissolve into the mountains…We glide into the valley, peering over mountain ash toward blue-tinged ridgelines. The softness of this landscape holds us; summoning us through its lowlands and lulling us into a slower rhythm. Bound by this folded terrain, we are only ever lifted by the thunder which rumbles and ripples - reverberating through the river’s flow.

Felicity graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art from RMIT School of Art in 2018. Born in Adelaide, Felicity’s fascination with art and the natural world led her to study design and landscape architecture before moving to Canberra to work in the environmental sector. She now lives in Warburton, where she draws inspiration from the ranges. Undulations includes recent works by Felicity, with a nod to the sculptural terrain of the Yarra Ranges and other Australian landscapes.
