Spike The Echidna

Spike is the story of an echidna, stolen from his nest by a greedy rat. A young girl, who is hiding from her own bullies, finds him as he hatches from his egg far away from home. She tries to help but accidently puts Spike in the nest of a crocodile and emu and a turtle.

Spike feels frightened, rejected and alone. As the story unfolds, the girl helps Spike to discover where he belongs, and he helps the young girl find her own “spikes” and stand up to her bullies.

An interactive fun and entertaining experience for children 3–10 years, Spike the Echidna will provide the perfect catalyst fora discussion about difference and belonging.
