Opera Australia Presents The Barber of Seville

Opera Australia is reimagining Rossini’s The Barber of Seville for children, bringing the classic comedy of errors and romance to Mooroolbark and Healesville. This interpretation of the famous opera has been designed to introduce children to classical music and to teach them about history.

The humorous tale of the love-struck Count Almaviva and the cunning barber, Figaro, will have the kids laughing at Figaro’s antics and enraptured by the stunning performances, beautiful costumes and engaging scenery. Rossini’s arias are sung in English so that everyone can follow the fun-filled story.

Take the children for a musical adventure back in time!
