Join the Yinga Choir

The word ‘Yinga’ means ‘to sing’ in Boon Wurrung and Woiwurrung languages.

Anyone who loves to sing can join this project-specific choir to learn a range of beautiful Indigenous songs led by musician and choir leader, Catherine Nolan.

This project is being presented to celebrate International Year of Indigenous Languages and the dhumba-njan dhumba-njarr (speak-I speak-you) exhibition currently on display at Yarra Ranges Regional Museum.

BONUS: Included in the small fee to join Yinga Choir is a complimentary ticket to attend ‘Mission Songs Project’ at The Memo, Healesville, Tuesday 9 July 7.30pm. Valued at $28.
