Inside Out Discovery Lab

Inside Out Discovery Lab will help inspire your natural curiosity towards science and the world around us, featuring fascinating models, activities and hands-on experiments.

Have you considered how you learn to ride a bike, learn a new language, catch a ball or read a book? These activities plus everything else we see, hear, feel and do are made possible by our brain.

Inside Out Discovery Lab will help you unlock the secrets of how your brain works and controls other parts of your body. Featuring fascinating models, hands-on experiments and activities you’ll be surprised by the many amazing things our brain does for us.

Experience the joy of scientific discovery and nurture your natural curiosity about the world around you. Self-guided activities and experiments are suitable for all ages. Adult supervision required.

Inside Out Discovery Lab will run in conjunction with The Art of Science, which features images from the frontier of Australian medical research, courtesy of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute.
